About Us

Academic Heights Public School, Indore was established in 2019, under Zooming Horizons Educational Society (ZHES) Indore. ZHES has a vast and extensive experience of 12 years of school operations, with one of its award winning ventures ‘Bachpan Play School’ successfully running from 2010. We are specialists of primary education and are leaders of the field in the region. Academic Heights Public School, Indore has been awarded as “The Most Active CBSE School of the Year” in its very first year of operation. Our dedication makes us one of the top CBSE schools in Indore.
Academic Heights Public School, Indore aims to provide elite CBSE education to students along with overall soft skills and personality development. We do this keeping in mind that our students can build their career in any field of their choosing in the future. Being the best school in Indore is our aim but we plan to achieve this by preparing our students to step into the world as skilled professionals and ready to take on any challenges. At AHPS we pay utmost importance to the respective student’s age group and their brain activity level. Our indigenious study material is handpicked keeping this in mind. We make sure that our students study the basics first and then escalate to advanced form, slowly and without any extra burden. Our integrated curriculum helps to develop student’s attitudes, skills, and knowledge and to help them make connections across the curriculum. Our holistic approach brings everything together and allows the student to grow and their minds to prosper. The examinations and syllabus follow CBSE guidelines but our teaching methodologies are mostly inspired from IGCSE and ICSE. We do not believe in spoon feeding and traditional book-and-board teaching methods. We strive to achieve knowledge gain and practical understanding without books using techniques like activity based learning, interactive enquiry based learning, project based and skill-based learning which is now also encouraged by the Central Government. We have special focus on technological advancement and language development for the child. We believe that equal attention should be paid to extra co-curricular activities and sports along with academics. To this effect we have an Olympics standard basketball court, Australian turf for cricket net practice, Full size football field and many features for encouraging sports so that our students can compete at interschool, district and professional competitions.

Decode Startup Program

 

We embrace every unique startup idea and give them a platform to showcase:

  • Our startup programme would provide our students with hands-on experience. After extensive research, the program was developed to provide our students with the best learning experience possible.
  • The program is intended for students in grades 9 through 12.
  • To begin, a school can choose two teams from a selection of 10 teams from throughout the country. Finally, three teams will be selected to earn one lakh rupees in seed financing to further develop their concepts.
  • Students must develop a unique idea, which might be a completely new concept or an upgrade to an existing method or product. Selected students will receive virtual instruction from industry professionals.
