Director's Message,

AHPS INDORE.
Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. As rightly said by Malcolm X, “Indeed one must be prepared for tomorrow.” We at AHPS prepare future citizens ready to take over the world with their confidence, creativity, knowledge, spirit and leadership skills.
The curriculum is designed keeping in mind the needs of a future citizen. Our students have been trained in technology since childhood. In their pre-primary years(Bachpan), they get familiar with Edu-tech such as text-speech converter (Speak-O-Pen), Virtual reality Goggles, Smartboards, etc. Inculcating the best of technology in early education makes the students technology-friendly and advanced from the rest of the crowd. As they move to primary years, we introduce a co-curricular subject -Lego Robotics. Here the aim is to shift from being “tech-users” to “tech-makers”. The use of technology and apps for simple animation, designing a structure in robotics and document preparation begins in the Primary years. These are the skills that come handy in the day–to–day life of a working professional and our future citizens are prepared for it. Our students are not only technology-friendly but also independent thinkers.
We try to connect our students with our diverse India’s deep-rooted traditions and cultures. So our young minds not only learn how we celebrate particular festivals but also learn the science behind these customs. There is a logic in every old age ritual if we look deep. So they taught the curiosity to research and reason the things going on around them in daily life. This helps them naturally develop excellent thinking and logical reasoning skills. There are festival celebrations, International days celebrations and special assemblies conducted to develop stage confidence and better oratory skills amongst every single child. The speciality is that our school student’s council decides the themes. Students elect the council members. So we practise democracy throughout the process, which instigates a sense of power and say amongst each child, which will help them be a responsible citizen of tomorrow.
I feel that mentorship is something that we all need throughout life and not just for choosing the right stream of education. Sometimes decisions of right and wrong in real life become complex. Preparation for such situations must begin at school. We have excellent self-awareness development programs like “Be your Mentor” to mentor students’ self-esteem, awareness, and realisation. It also helps students analyse, evaluate and decide their stream of career. So although teens are indeed very confusing years of life, Our students are well guided and crystal clear with their goals and ambitions.
“Start ups are the engine of exponential growth. Several big companies of today are startups of yesterday.”- Narendra Modi. We encourage the spirit of startups in our young minds. They are taught and trained for all the essential steps right from thinking about an idea to presenting their first pitch to investors. Our aim is not just to prepare our future citizens for being employable but generate employment. I believe every child is special. We only need to explore what is one’s speciality. AHPS shapes the extraordinary minds of every ordinary student. To encourage the innovative and creative young minds, apart from the Decode Startup program, we have student appreciation initiatives like “Born to Win, AHPS Olympiads, Mega Competitions- Inter AHPS Cultural and Sports tournaments”, etc. All this national-level exposure gives them confidence and a platform to prove themselves and stand out amongst the crowd.
Our students must have a rounded development. Sports, creativity, oratory skills, leadership skills, team management, writing skills, presentation skills, and being an excel in academics are all parts of an ideal student’s personality. Yet, a perfect student is not made in school alone. We need a strong partnership of parents and teachers for the same. We make sure that there is crystal clear communication on the shared responsibilities of the child. Our delighted parents display active participation in academics and management.
At the end, I would like to say that- You, as a parent, are an integral and crucial part of our system. I am sure you and I can make the best future citizen. So let’s join hands and thrive on our vision right from today.
